71-Year-Old Recovering After Being Assaulted
The 71-year-old man injured in an assault yesterday [Nov 13] in Sandys is recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital, with police continuing to appeal for information regarding the incident.
A police spokesperson said, “At last check this morning [Monday, November 14th] the 71 year old Sandys parish man injured in a reported assault around 11:25am Sunday, November 13th in the Long Bay Lane / Daniel’s Head Sandys parish area was recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital.
“Inquiries continue and any witnesses or persons with relevant information that have not yet come forward should contact the Criminal Investigation Department on 247-1744.”
