Tuesdays At Sol Petroleum: Seniors Get 10% Off
Sol Petroleum Bermuda Ltd. and its family of Esso service stations has partnered with Age Concern and launched a promotion that offers seniors a discount on fuel for 8 weeks.
Every Tuesday, from January 31st until March 21st, seniors or anyone 50 years old [or above] will receive 10% off fuel purchases at every Esso service station when they sign up to become a member of Age Concern.
The promotion is intended to not only help out Bermuda’s seniors but also to raise awareness about the Age Concern charity and bolster its membership.
“We are happy to launch the Esso Age Concern promotion for a second year in a row” said Jonathan Brewin, General Manager of Sol Petroleum Bermuda Ltd.
“It not only benefits our seniors, but sheds light on the many benefits that Age Concern presents to its membership. We hope this promotion creates more awareness for the charity in general as well as helping our seniors save money at the pump.”
Dr. Claudette Fleming, Executive Director of Age Concern commented “I wish to extend sincere thanks to Sol Petroleum Bermuda Ltd., Esso Gas Stations and their staff for their continued commitment to Age Concern.
“In the face of retirement many older adults are looking for ways to minimize their living expenses as prices continue to rise year on year. 10% on fuel is a big deal for seniors and will be greatly appreciated.”
Sol Bermuda Ltd reiterated that the 10% discount is only available on Tuesdays now thru March 21st to those who are 50 years old or older at any Esso gas station but to be eligible individuals must sign up to be a member or already be a member of Age Concern.
