Court: 30-Year-Old Denies Importing Cannabis
Appearing in Magistrates Court, a 30-year-old man denied importing and possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
Jahmarley Gardiner elected to be tried in Magistrate’s Court, and pleaded not guilty to charges alleging that in November 2016, he had imported cannabis; and that on that same date, in St George’s, he had possessed cannabis with the intent to supply.
Answering the Magistrate, the Crown Counsel said that the cannabis had an alleged street value of $10,975.
Mr Gardiner was granted bail at $5,000 and required to provide a surety, and was also ordered to surrender all his travel documents, not leave this jurisdiction, and report to Hamilton Police station every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
