Ian Cook Appointed Chair Of TLF Board
The Technology Leadership Forum [TLF], a Bermuda registered charity that assist in the development of young Bermudians who are interested in and embarking in careers in Information and Communication Technology [ICT], announced the appointment of Mr Ian Cook as Chair of its Board of Directors. Mr. Cook takes over from Ms. Sandra DeSilva, the charity’s Chair for the past two years.
Mr. Cook is currently CEO and President of the BAS Group of Companies and has over six years of supporting the Technology Leadership Forum as Deputy Chairman and holding other board positions. Mr. Cook is an accomplished Engineer with many years of senior management experience working in businesses in Bermuda, Europe and Dubai.
“I am honored and excited to be taking on the role of Chair of this essential organization. The charities’ mission to help develop young enthusiast IT talent, an asset to the growth of Bermuda’s technology industry. I look forward to the inspiring interns of 2017 and assisting with mentoring them into our future IT Leaders,” he said.
