1. How does it feel to have been selected for such an elite squad?

I feel both anxious and excited to be selected for such an elite squad, especially since I’m one of the youngest on the team.

2. How will you prepare for the competition between now and May 11th?

I’ll prepare for this competition by improving my fitness and by practicing our defense and shooting drills.

3. Will this be your first time in Scotland? Do you plan to take time to see some of the local sights during your time there?

Yes, this will be my first-time and hopefully if time permits I will get to see some of the local sights.

4. When did you start playing netball and what prompted you to start?

I started playing netball at West Pembroke Primary when I was in P5, but it was in P4 that it was first introduced to me in P.E.

5. Do you feel the sport of netball gets enough support from the local community?

We get some support from the local community, however more support is needed, in order to help the game of netball to grow.

6. What are ultimate goals in life, both on and off the court?

My ultimate goal on and the court would be to one day give back as either an umpire and/or a coach and off the court I would love to become a pro athlete and an accountant.

7. If you had to, for some reason, have one non-netball player on your team, like a local politician/entertainer/public figure, who would you choose and why?

If I did have to pick one non netball player it would be my dad, because he has been one of my biggest supporters and has always encouraged me throughout all my netball years.

8. Which Bermudian athlete, coach or sporting figure do you admire most and why?

I grew up watching a lot of netball and admired so many of our players, but the one I really admired the most was seasoned netball player, Deborah Deshields, for her movements in the circle, skill level and energy she shows while playing on the court.
