Collision: Van Driver Strikes Wall In West End
A van being driven out of Dockyard struck a wall of Grey’s Bridge, with the driver, believed to be a 50-year-old Sandys parish man, sustaining a minor cut to his nose.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 10:10pm Monday, June 19th police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle crash on Malabar Road in Sandys parish.
“It appears that a van being driven out of Dockyard struck a wall of Grey’s Bridge near the junction with Heydon Road.
“Apparently the driver, believed to be a 50-year-old Sandys parish man, sustained a minor cut to his nose. The van was damaged and had to be towed from the area.
“Any witnesses are asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
