Witness Appeal: Murder Of Jahkoby Smith
The police are appealing for the public’s assistance with information that can help solve the murder of Jahkoby Smith, who was killed in July 2017.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service are still requesting the public’s assistance with information that can help us with the solving the murder of Jahkoby Smith.
“The circumstances are as follows: About 7:15pm on Saturday 29th July 2017, Police received several 911 calls from persons reporting a stabbing at West End Sailboat Club, Sandys, where the wake of murder victim Jahcari Francis was taking place.
“Police and first responders were dispatched to the scene where the victim, Jahkoby Smith, was being tendered to by persons in the area. Police officers rendered first aid until EMTs arrived who then conveyed Mr. Smith to King Edward Memorial Hospital. Unfortunately he was subsequently pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.
