Magic Mornings Christmas Food & Toy Drive
Magic Mornings host Beverley Howell has been heading up the Magic Mornings Christmas Food and Toy Drive, collecting non-perishable food and toys between November 10 and December 8, to be distributed by the Salvation Army.
The effort will culminate with an event tomorrow [Dec 8] which invites the public to bring donation boxes to the Salvation Army Truck of Hope parked outside Magic 102.7 Studio at 49 Union Square between 7.00am and 12.00pm, with those donating invited to come into the studio for a Christmas shout out.
Accepted items include canned meat, oatmeal and cereal, beans and nuts, peanut butter, coffee and tea bags, canned vegetables, pasta, infant formula, canned soup, rice and grains, canned milk, canned sauces, canned and dried fruit, and powdered milk, along with new gift toys.
