Trott On The Bench For Premier League Match
Bermudian goalkeeper Nathan Trott was on the bench as his West Ham United team fell to a 2-1 defeat to Premier League leaders Manchester City, who secured a 13th successive win on Sunday.
In advance of the match, West Ham noted that Trott was a substitute saying, “There’s also spots on the bench for Toni Martinez and Domingos Quina, with the duo joined for the first time in the Premier League by Nathan Trott and Ben Johnson.
In a tweet following the match, Trott — who has been also been part of England’s U20 team — said, “Happy to be in the squad today, unlucky with the result.”
