Dante Leverock To Trial With Estonian Team

January 5, 2018

Bermudian international Dante Leverock has “earned a trial with Estonian top-tier side JK Narva Trans,” according to the PSC Soccer Academy.

The PSC Soccer Academy website said, “25-year-old Bermuda international, Leverock, impressed a number of professional coaches and scouts during PSC’s Fort Lauderdale combine last month, and PSC’s network of Baltic scouts, including former Narva Trans striker Aleksandrs Čekulajevs, quickly recommended the defender to the club.

“Speaking following confirmation of the trials, ex-USL player Leverock expressed his gratitude in being offered a professional opportunity in Europe.

“I want to thank PSC for providing me with an opportunity to further my professional career,” said Leverock. The combine was a great experience and very well organised – I was able to showcase my skills in front of a number of coaches.

“I am grateful to Tom and the PSC team, and at the same time very excited to be challenging myself to earn a contract in Europe,” added Leverock.

Having evaluated Leverock’s on-the-field ability a number of times over the years, PSC Director Tom Taylor revealed that the Narva Trans trial could be a perfect opportunity for the centre-back to reignite his professional career.

JK Narva Trans is a professional football club, based in Narva, Estonia, that competes in the Meistriliiga, the top flight of Estonian football.

During a recent interview with Bernews, Leverock said, “Ideally, I want to be playing football for a living waking up every day touching a ball and having had that opportunity for the past three years I want to get back to that level. That is my goal.”
