Field Hockey: Budgies & Mixed A Team Win
The Bermuda Field Hockey League Season resumed at the National Sports Center with 10 goals scored in a triple header.
Budgies 3 Sandpipers 0
The Budgies won this junior battle 3 – 0 over the Sandpipers, both teams sported youngsters in their lineups, Selina Whitter would give the Budgies the lead with a Penalty Corner goal in the 35th minute, Littie Davidson doubled the lead in the 55th minute with a Field Goal and then on the stroke of full time Samantha Davies scored from a Field Goal to earn the Budgies the 3 – 0 win.
Pink Robins 1 Canaries 1
This match between the Pink Robins and Canaries ended 1 – 1, the Canaries took the lead in the 3rd minute with a Field Goal off the stick of Meagan Jackson, but Sam Davies would equalize for the Pink Robins in the 48th minute with a Field Goal.
Mixed A Team 5 Mixed B Team 0
The Mixed A Team defeated the Mixed B Team 5 – 0 in the final game of the day, with Matthew Spencer leading the way with a hat-trick, while James Morgan and Mark Finnigan adding a goal each.
