Good day, Chamber of Commerce. The tourism season does not end on Aug 29, 2018. What the hell is the problem. How about opening up them shops on Sundays and holidays. It’s sad when a cruise ship comes in on a Sunday with 3,000 people and they make their way to Hamilton to find a ghost town. When are we going to learn? Last year there we times when 2 ships came into Dockyard and the whole damn island was shut down, really! Are we in the tourism business or not?

I would have to agree as I was on one of those ships in September. We went into town at 7pm to be disappointed that EVERYTHING but a few restaurants was closed. I purchased all my gifts in the dockyards because of it.

Important points taken, especially with Disney Cruise this year in October we really should be extending our limited excitement. Extended ferry on the weekends to hamiton and St George’s ,extend Harbour nights to end of October, allow the license restaurants and clubs to come within 20 feet of there establisment into the street with music, food and flair Bartender to assist with energy and entertainment . If we want to get on board with the rest of the world we need to stop thinking that we are only seasonal ..

What time is the start and end of the festival each night. Our ship comes into port on 25th 8am and leaves 27th 4pm. Everyone is chatting about this in the group for our cruise. Excited to see your city!
