Video: Sunday March 4th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
Dellwood students creating a powerful anti-violence campaign video, a Swedish team signing Bermudian footballer Willie Clemons, Jessica Lewis winning the 100m & 200m races at the Snowbird Classic in Florida, American clothing retailer Talbots using Bermuda as a backdrop in their latest catalog, and Dante Leverock scoring in Estonia were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, the Marsh and Guy Carpenter Bermuda’s office was recognized as one of the three volunteering countries, Kent Richardson won the Men’s 50+ category at Xterra in Ecuador, Hamilton Princess donated 45 books to Clearwater School, Friends of Hospice Hearts, Hats & Tea held a successful fundraiser, and the Bermuda cricket team defeated Argentina,
We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the Trust Auction Preview and Jumble Sale, the Premier & First Division football games, the Bermuda Jumping Challenge, the BSSF Primary School Rugby, the Saltus Grammar School Science Fair, the Friends of Hospice Hearts, Hats & Tea, and the Purvis Primary School Science Fair.
