Klout Social Media Rankings For April 2018

People are sharing less on social media platforms. Concerns about privacy, people deleting their social accounts, and algorithm changes have caused a steep drop in content sharing.

This from Buzzsumo’s 2018 Content Trends Report, which states social sharing has halved from 2015 to 2017. The report shows that it took only 62 shares for a post to be in the top 10% of all shared posts for the year.

This drop in sharing has been reflected in the Bermuda Top 50 Klout rankings.

It now takes a score of 53 to make the list whereas last April you would have needed a mark of 61. This time around a score of 61 places a person tied for 22nd.

The top five remain unchanged, as do their rankings. WWE and Fox Business commentator remains number with an 84 before Heather Nova, Bernews and Collie Buddz are joint second. Chubb Insurance rounds out the top five with a score of 78.
