Photos: Van Crashes On Side In Pembroke
[Updated with video] Emergency Services responded to the St. John’s Road, Pembroke area tonight [April 30] where a collision occurred near the junction with Cox’s Hill Road resulting in a van landing on its side at approximately 11.00pm.
Traffic is being diverted away from the scene and while further details are limited at this time, we will update as able.
Update May 1, 11.15am: A police spokesperson said, “Around 11pm Monday, April 30th police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported single vehicle damage only van crash on St. John’s Road in Pembroke.
“Initial information suggests that the vehicle involved was being driven along St. John’s Road when it struck a wall between Pitts Bay Road and Cox’s Hill Road, ending up on its side.
“Apparently both the wall and van were damaged, but there were no reported injuries.
“Traffic was temporarily diverted away from the area.
“Inquiries continue. Any witnesses are asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.“
