Car Crashes & Overturns In Southampton
Members of the public helped a driver get out of a car after it crashed and overturned in Southampton early this morning [Sept 13].
A police spokesperson said, “Around 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2026, police and other first responders attended a serious single vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcar, in the area of Franks Bay, Middle Road, Southampton.
“The car was reportedly traveling in a westerly direction, when the female driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a wall. The vehicle overturned and landed on it’s side with the female driver trapped inside.
“Members of the public came to the assistance of the driver and were able to get her out. The driver was not injured.”
