BUEI’s Members Appreciation Day On Sept 19th

BUEI will host a free Members Appreciation Day on Saturday, September 19, featuring ocean-themed activities and the final Kids Hour of the year focused on jellyfish.

A spokesperson said, “This Saturday, September 19, the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] will thank its members the way it knows best — with a full day of ocean discovery that is open to the community and free for all to attend! Members Appreciation Day runs from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, along with the final Kids Hour on Saturday for this year, celebrating current members for their support and giving prospective members a first-hand look at the impact and benefits of BUEI membership.

“This year’s closing Kids Hour programme dives into the world of jellyfish, with their umbrella-shaped bells and trailing tentacles! Kids Hour features two story-time sessions — 11:00 am or 2:00 pm — including a short film and hands-on educational activities. Arts and crafts, STEM experiments, and more family-friendly fun is available throughout the day. Stop by the Members Tent to sign up, renew, and collect a goody bag; complimentary refreshments are available for members. Hot Dog Delight will also be on site with a variety of food and snacks for sale.
