Governor Congratulates Hatfield On Award
Governor John Rankin welcomed Stratton Hatfield to Government House to congratulate him on the award of Chevening Scholarship, with Mr Hatfield set to undertake a Masters in Sustainability, Entrepreneurship and Design at Brunel University.
Government House posted these photos online, saying, “Last week His Excellency the Governor, John Rankin, welcomed Stratton Hatfield to Government House, to congratulate him on the award of a Chevening Scholarship.
“Stratton, Director of Development at BE Solar, will undertake a Masters in Sustainability, Entrepreneurship and Design at Brunel University.
“Upon completing his Masters, Stratton will use his skill set to continue to grow BE Solar with the aim of implementing more sustainable environmental, social and economic practices and policies into Bermuda.
“Also in attendance was Pahn-ya Ratteray, a Bermudian Chevening alumna [2015-2016] who completed an MSc in Project Management at Robert Gordon University with the support of the Chevening Scholarship.
“Chevening Scholarships are awarded to individuals with demonstrable leadership potential who also have strong academic backgrounds. The scholarship offers full financial support for future leaders to study for any eligible master’s degree at any UK university whilst also gaining access to a wide range of exclusive academic, professional, and cultural experiences.
“Applications are now open for Chevening Scholarships 2018 [for study in 2019/2020]. For further information, visit www.chevening.org.”
