Hockey: Mixed A Team & Under 21 Team Win
Thirteen goals in total were scored during the Bermuda Field Hockey double-header that took place at the National Sports Center.
Mixed A Team 6 Pink Robins 3
The Mixed A Team defeated the Pink Robins 6 – 3 in the opener, Tim Davies led the way with a hat-trick for the Mixed A Team, while Peter Loader, Connie Betts and James Morgan all added a goal each. Lesci de Angelo scored twice for the Pink Robins, while Jo Heaney added the other.
Under 21 Team 3 Sandpipers 1
The Under 21 team despite having only 8 players defeated the Sandpipers 3 – 1. Lauren Patterson scored a Field Goal in the 2nd minute, Cori Bremar would double the lead with a Field Goal in the 42nd minute. Patterson would add her second Field Goal of the game in the 48th minute to give the Under 21 team a 3 – 0 lead, Dominique Brown would pull a goal back for the Sandpipers but they could not get any closer.
