Man In Stable Condition After Stabbing Incident

The 43-year-old man who was injured when he was stabbed by two men on Harbour Road in Paget yesterday [Oct 23] is in stable condition in the ICU, and the police continue to appeal for witnesses or information about the incident.

A police spokesperson said, “At last check this morning [October 24th] the 43-year-old man, said to be a Paget resident, seriously injured when he was stabbed by two men on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Valley Road around 2:53am Tuesday, October 23rd remained listed in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

“The Bermuda Police Service is continuing investigations into this attempted robbery and serious assault and take this opportunity to thank those persons who have already made contact with police.

“However, investigators remain interested in speaking with anyone who was traveling in the areas between Dockyard and Harbour Road, Paget during the early morning hours of Tuesday morning and;

  • observed two men on a motorcycle following closely behind a second motorcycle with a single rider,
  • observed two men on a motorcycle approaching other road users while displaying unusual behaviour
  • in recent days/weeks themselves were targeted by and/or witnessed two men on a motorcycle approaching other road users or
  • received information regarding any approaches from two men on a motorcycle making demands of money and or personal property [i.e. chains or other jewellery].
