Bermuda Sailors Conclude In New Orleans
With a total of 234 sailors – including seven from Bermuda — concluded competing on the waters of New Orleans in the United States Optimist Dinghy Association Midwinter Championship.
The Fleet had been split into two groups, Sebastian Kempe led the Bermuda sailors in the Gold Fleet, he finished in 14th place with 52 Net Points, Laura Hupman was in 19th place overall and was the fifth girl overall, with 65 Net Points.
Christian Ebbin finished in 39th with 84 Net Points, Rachael Betschart was in 50th place with 102 Net Points and Magnus Ringsted concluded in 74th with 155 Net Points.
Millie Lewis was in 19th in Silver Fleet and Nicole Stovell was in 54th place with 147 Net Points.
