February 4, 2019

Bermudian poet Nancy Anne Miller was recently invited to be part of a program titled Angles Of Light: Readings Of Caribbean Poetry, with her segment to be broadcast in March.

Ms. Miller said, “I was invited by the Jamaican writer Juleus Ghunta to be part of Angles of Light: Readings of Caribbean Poetry which was and will be broadcast in the United Kingdom.”

Angles of Light: Readings of Caribbean Poetry Part I:

“The reading includes noteworthy Caribbean poets such as Kendel Hippolyte [St.Lucia], Mervyn Morris [Jamaica], Esther Phillips, [Barbados], Philip Lanton [The Grenadines], Joanne Hillhouse [Antigua and Barbuda] and many more. Each poet represents their island and there is an introduction by the Jamaican poet and professor Opal Adisa Palmer. I will be reading in Part II representing Bermuda, which is to be broadcast in March.

“The impassioned introduction by Opal Palmer Adisa is carefully researched, emphatically stated and will be a real shout out to Bermudian writers to keep going.”
