Hamilton & St. George’s Elections On May 9th

The Municipal Elections for the Corporations of Hamilton and St. George’s will be held on May 9th, officials have announced.

A Government spokesperson said, “Ordinary Municipal Elections for the Corporations of Hamilton and St. George’s will be held on 9 May, 2019.

“The seven day registration period for Municipal Residents and Business Ratepayers started today. Registration will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday 3 April, 2019.

“Business ratepayers and municipal residents can check their registrations at the General Post Office, St. George’s Post Office, the Corporations of Hamilton and St. Georges and the Parliamentary Registrar’s Office located on the third floor of the Craig Appin House, Wesley Street, Hamilton.

“Business Ratepayer registration forms will be available at the respective Corporations of Hamilton or St. George’s. Municipal Residents can also register and check their registration details online.

“For more information on the Municipal Elections visit the Parliamentary Registry website at www.elections.gov.bm.”
