WestJet Passengers Wait For Rescheduled Flight
Passengers on board last night’s [March 3] WestJet Airlines flight 2711 scheduled to depart Bermuda have been delayed 24-hours, with passengers having to disembark the plane after boarding.
Bernews reached out to Skyport for a statement and were referred to WestJet, and a WestJet spokesperson said, “Flight 2711 was cancelled earlier today [March 3] due to maintenance.
“All guests have been re-accommodated and are scheduled to depart on March 4. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our guests and are working to get them on their way as soon as possible.”
Last night’s passengers were told their rescheduled flight would depart Bermuda tonight at 7.38pm. Online tracking indicates the aircraft left Toronto at 5.48pm and is scheduled to arrive in Bermuda at 8.15pm.
