Bee Hive Near The Entrance Of Fort Hamilton

An active bee hive has been identified near the entrance of Fort Hamilton, and the City has engaged the services of bee keeper to relocate the hive, and in the meantime the City is urging visitors to the Fort to be “aware of the situation and proceed with caution.”

A City of Hamilton spokesperson said, “The City of Hamilton advises that an active bee hive has been identified near the entrance of Fort Hamilton.

“The City has engaged the services of bee keeper Spencer Field, who is assessing the situation and will relocate the hive as safely as possibly. The City urges all visitors to the Fort to be aware of the situation and proceed with caution. The Fort remains open to all visitors.”
