Futsal: Assassins, Legends & Involved Win
A total of 55 goals were scored in futsal league games recently at the Bermuda College gym.
Game 1: Futsal Assassins vs Footy Force
The game was a fairly even affair in the early part of the first half, but Assassins slowly took control of the game and by half time they led Footy Force 8 goals to 4. In the second half both teams scored 6 goals each with Assassins winning the game 14 goals to Footy’s 10. Mat Clingerman was Assassins’ MVP with 2 goals and Nasingh Spence was outstanding for Footy, scoring 4 goals.
Game 2: RBR FC vs Living Legends
Legends led from start to finish and at half time were up 7 goals to 0. The second half was more of the same with Legends scoring a further 7 goals to RBR’s 3, to win the game 14 goals to 3. Ian Coke was outstanding for Living Legends, scoring 7 goals, and RBR’s Moricko Iris was their MVP with 2 goals.
Game 3: Team Involved & Co. vs Underrated FC
The most competitive game of the evening saw both teams start out slowly with Underrated slightly ahead at the half leading Team Involved 3 goals to 2. However, in the second half Team Involved dominated the game scoring 6 goals to Underrated’s 3 , to win the game 8 to 6. Jai-Zel Smith-Deshields was Team Involved and Co’s MVP with 4 goals, and Donovan Thompson was outstanding for Underrated, scoring 5 goals.
The next round of games takes place tomorrow [June 1] at the Bermuda College gym. Games start at 6.00pm.
