Rising Inferno Concert To Feature Ginuwine
The Rising Inferno Productions team, previously Rise & Shine Entertainment and Inferno Productions, are set to host a Pre Mother’s Day Love Jam on Saturday, May 4th at the National Sports Centre.
“Past events have welcomed R&B artists Dru Hill and Avant, and will this time welcome R&B sensations Slim of 112 and headliner, superstar Ginuwine,” a spokesperson said.
“Rising Inferno is on a mission to not only promote local events, but create a platform for music to effect change. This will be our third local event, marking a resurgence of events highlighting R&B music, as well as presenting additional opportunities for Bermudian artists to share their talent on the same stage as superstars such as Slim and Ginuwine.
“Bermudian artists are set to include Jesse Seymour, John Seymour and Ryan Bean, who have each respectively made a mark on the R&B scene.
“Ginuwine is a household favorite, particularly for those who love 90’s R&B, with songs like Same Ol’ G, Differences and of course, Pony, still regularly in rotation on stations around the world.
“Slim, the lead singer in popular R&B group 112, has shown his incredible talent by launching a solo career, while carrying on the legacy and music of 112. We are excited to have them on island and are certain they will give Bermuda an amazing performance.”
“Looking ahead to their next event, the organizers are offering a “Rising Inferno Special” for all concert goers, who will be able to purchase tickets for the upcoming Rising Stars concert, featuring Reggae superstar Koffee, live from Kingston Jamaica. Special ticket prices are just $50 for VIP and $30 regular and are only available for purchase at the event.
“The Love Jam will open its doors to guests at 8:30pm, with the show starting at 9:30pm. DJ’s Rusty G, Juggling J and DJ Chubb of Vibe 103 will entertain the crowd, alongside host for the evening DJ Bernie Mac, as well as a special guest performance. Tickets are $75 for general admission, $100 for VIP.
“The Love Jam VIP Experience includes complimentary access to the Artists Meet and Greet [being held at the Inferno Lounge on May 3rd from 5-8pm], dinner and a complimentary cocktail at the concert, along with designated complimentary parking.
“Entry to the Meet and Greet for those not holding VIP tickets is $10 at the door. Part proceeds are to assist the events, programs and services made possible by the Friends of the Bermuda National Library [charity #309]. Tickets are available at 27th Century Boutique, Menco, Inferno Lounge or online at www.ptix.bm.”
