Erica Hawley Finishes 27th In Triathlon In Mexico

Bermuda’s Erica Hawley turned in a solid performance competing in the 2019 Huatulco ITU Triathlon World Cup event in Mexico.

Hawley was part of the ASICS World Triathlon Team.

Competing in the Elite Women’s race Hawley finished 27th overall with a time of 1:03.43, Hawley finished 3.13 behind the winner Summer Rappaport from the United States of America who was clocked in 1:00.56, Alexandra Razarenova from Russia was second in 1:01.05, and Lisa Perterer from Austria finished third with a time of 1:01.18.

Hawley came out of the water with a swim time of 10:04, she would then cover the bike course in a time of 32:32 before completing the Run Course in a time of 19:43.

The other members of the ASICS World Triathlon Team, saw Leslie Amat Alvarez crossed the line 24th with a time of 1:03.14, Marion Kim Mangrobang finished 33rd clocking 1:05.16 and Antoanela Manac Did Not Finish.
