Ministry: No Injunction Against Prison Officers
The Ministry of National Security said that “no injunction has been filed against the Prison Officers Association.”
A Government spokesperson said, “As a result of multiple inaccurate media reports, the Ministry of National Security would like to clarify that no injunction has been filed against the Prison Officers Association.
“The Government has committed to working with our Prison Officers towards an amicable resolution of the current dispute.”
The issues between the Prison Officers Association and the Government have been ongoing, and last Friday the Prison Officers Association marched on the House of Assembly seeking to express their concerns about a number of matters.
