Lily Chen Joins BF&M Limited As Group CFO
In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange [BSX], BF&M Limited today [July 29] announced their CFO appointment.
The full filing stated: “BF&M Limited [BF&M] announced today the appointment of Ms. Lily Chen as Group Chief Financial Officer of BF&M Limited.
“Before joining BF&M, Ms. Chen served as Divisional Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Berkshire Hathaway Group, Reinsurance Division.
“In this role, she was responsible for leading the finance, reinsurance administration and client audit functions of the reinsurance division, overseeing the company’s reinsurance businesses in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Europe, Asia Pacific region and the Caribbean.
“Prior to her role with Berkshire Hathaway, Ms. Chen held leadership positions with Aviva Canada, ING Insurance Asia/Pacific and Marsh. Ms. Chen is a Chartered Professional Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Accounting concentration from the University of Calgary.”
BF&M Limited Board Chairman and CEO John Wight stated: “Lily brings over 20 years of experience of finance, strategic and operational leadership in a global finance function.
“With her proven ability to build high performance teams in the financial services sector, as well as to engage her people, she will be a valued addition to the BF&M executive team.”
