PHC Foundation Award $45,000 In Scholarships

The PHC Foundation recently celebrated its 15th Anniversary and held their annual Scholarship awards Presentation and Gala.

Guest speaker, Mr. Chris Furbert, a long time PHC member and former President of the Pembroke Hamilton Club spoke about the history of the foundation, how it started as the brainchild of PHC Executive committee members, and highlighted the success of the foundation to present day.

In total, $45,000 was awarded to ten young Zebras to assist with their studies at preparatory school, college and university levels. The PHC Foundation has awarded over $300,000 since it was founded in 2004.

The recipients of this year’s scholarship are Ms. Taznae Fubler [missing from the photo], Mr. Nazari Woods, Mr. Jarred Douglas, Mr. Jayden Ebbin, Mr. Corey Booth, Mr. Dimitrius Richardson, Mr. T’syi Showers, Mr. Stefan Simmons Mr. Keishon Bean and Mr. Jalun Hassell.

    The memories I have of you guys training at Spice Valley and our Saturday early mornings going all over the island to play… they were always fun (win or not).. the vibe was always great even when things got hard players > parents > coaches relationship was exceptional..
