One Communications Post-Storm Update
One Communications continues to work on storm restoration, and said that approximately 800 TV/Internet customers are offline as of today.
A spokesperson said, “One Communications today reports approximately 800 TV/Internet customers offline. Of this total, approximately 200 are affected by known issues being addressed by the field teams and are targeted to be back online by Sunday night.
“For the remaining 600 customers, issues with power and damage on individual properties continue to be addressed. As of 9:00am this morning, BELCO has advised of approximately 1,200 customers without power.
“Customers with downed lines, or have power to their home but no TV/Internet service can report the issue by calling 700.7000 or by using our online Storm Outage Reporting Form on the updates page at www.onecomm.bm.
“Mobile services impacted in the east are scheduled to have full coverage restored by Monday, September 30. This area includes South Rd. Smith’s, Knapton Hill, Harrington Hundreds, Spittal Pond, St. Mark’s Rd. McGall’s Hill, Idle Acres, and Spanish Heights.
“The company wishes to thank their customers for their continued patience. Further updates will be provided as new information becomes available which can be found at www.onecomm.bm.”

Excellent news for the Island. Great work. Not looking forward to my current cell bill as I had to use a lot of data because my internet was down. Bright side, my electricity bill will be smaller.
