Football: Bermuda Trio Help Holland College Win
Jade Stewart, Jazae Smith and Symira Lowe-Darrell and their Holland College Women’s Soccer team defeated St. Thomas University at the Terry Fox Sports Complex.
The women’s Hurricanes used two second-half goals to secure the 3-0 win, clinching the number one ranking at the ACAA Championships later this month with two regular season games remaining.
Emily Lepine opened the scoring in the 15th minute for the only first-half goal in the match. Stewart struck quick in the second half to put Holland College up 2-0 in the 46th minute before Lepine secured the win in the 65th minute with her second goal of the game.
