Car Overturns After Collision In Smith’s
A car driver received a ‘minor head injury’ after a car crash which resulted in the car overturning in Smiths this afternoon [July 6], the police have confirmed.
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 2:13 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026, Police and other first responders were dispatched to a single vehicle road traffic collision involving an overturned car on Harrington Sound Road near the junction with Somersall Road, Smith’s.
“Upon arrival officers found the male driver of the motorcar involved, conscious and alert with a minor head injury.
“He was provided medical assistance at the scene.
“Traffic in the area of the collision is currently restricted to one lane and motorists can expect minor delays while the scene is cleared.
“Alternatively, motorists are advised where possible, to use South Road, or North Shore Road to get to their destinations.”

why do so many cars overturn? Do the drivers always swerve their wheel in a panic and topple? I fail to believe that in almost every accident a car is propelled upwards by an impact so that it may flip. Its in so many accidents. We dont even drive fast enough in Bermuda to cause rollovers, that happens at like highway speeds. Is it that heavy electric cars which are normally 50% heavier are striking normal cars and causing them to flip?

I beg to differ. Just last weekend I was travelling along North Shore Road at 30 miles per hour when I was overtaken like I was standing still.
You mean allegedly going at 30 miles per hour because of a fierce tailwind in a 25 mile per hour zone. I only ride my bicycle on North Shore Road at certain hours of the day to reduce the odds of being hit or having to move over and dodging storm drain grates.
We are at the apex of The Bermuda Triangle. I am not saying it is aliens, but… There is an entire page devoted to this car-flipping mystery on TheBermudaTriangle (you know the ending) webpage.
It is an absolute mystery how and why so many accidents include a car that has overturned!!!
I would guess looking at a cell phone. Is responsible for a number of these car flips.

How do people know what happened there, the person could have had a medical emergency!! This islands citizens always thinking about themselves selfish bunch of buggers!!
