Car Overturns After Collision In Smith’s
A car driver received a ‘minor head injury’ after a car crash which resulted in the car overturning in Smiths this afternoon [July 6], the police have confirmed.
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 2:13 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026, Police and other first responders were dispatched to a single vehicle road traffic collision involving an overturned car on Harrington Sound Road near the junction with Somersall Road, Smith’s.
“Upon arrival officers found the male driver of the motorcar involved, conscious and alert with a minor head injury.
“He was provided medical assistance at the scene.
“Traffic in the area of the collision is currently restricted to one lane and motorists can expect minor delays while the scene is cleared.
“Alternatively, motorists are advised where possible, to use South Road, or North Shore Road to get to their destinations.”
