HPWC Appoints New Executive Board
The Hamilton Parish Workmen’s Club [HPWC] recently held its annual general meeting, where a new executive board was elected.
A spokesperson said, “On Wednesday, October 2, the current membership of the Hamilton Parish Workmen’s Club attended the annual general meeting for 2019, where a new executive board was elected to govern the club. Hamilton Parish Workmen’s Club welcomes to their executive board:

- Assistant Secretary – Shadonna Phipps

“Terrisa is the content creator for her own websites as well as a Radio Personality on Hott 107.5 FM in Bermuda.
“Shadonna Phipps has served on numerous executive boards in varying capacities over the past 14 years. She currently serves on the Executive Board of the Hamilton Parish Youth Soccer Programme. Her eldest son currently plays under that programme and he has done so for the past 5 years. Shadonna is a wife and mother of 4 children, who was born and raised in Hamilton Parish.
“Shaynell Harvey was born and raised in Hamilton Parish. She is a member of the ‘99 graduating class of The Berkeley Institute after which she received a double major in Accounting and Finance from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax. Shaynell is a Certified Public Accountant with over 10 years of experience.
“She has worked at Ernst & Young completing a 4 year tenure in their Audit Department. Additionally, Shaynell worked within the Government for a total tenure of 8 years at the Accountant General’s Office as well as the Ministry of Health. Currently, Shaynell is working in the private sector as a CPA.
“The new executive board come with a fresh outlook and renewed interest to ensure the heart of our community becomes a diverse environment where all our welcome. Future plans for the member’s club will be shared with the public as the goal of the current board is to operate from a place of transparency.”
