Appearing in Magistrates Court today [Nov 7], a 28-year-old man denied assaulting an off duty police officer and threatening his wife.

Jaron Roberts denied unlawfully assaulting PC Stephen Cosham and causing actual bodily harm in an increased penalty zone near Clearwater Beach, and also denied two counts of intimidation, with the court hearing he allegedly rode his motorcycle directly at the officer’s wife.

The court heard this allegedly took place in the presence of Mr. Cosham’s 8-year-old daughter.
