News that the International Day of People with Disabilities was celebrated, Janae Nesbitt, Shi-Vaughn Lee, Jason Outerbridge and Tiné Tucker successfully completed the Ministry of Legal Affairs’ Pupillage Programme, WISTA Bermuda provided gifts to Age Concern, and author and artist Joan K. Aspinall released her new book Bermuda Mermaids and Mercats were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news, the Bermuda Football Association donated $1,000 to BBBS, the Airport Charity Classic raised over $30,000, Clarien launched its Holiday GiveBack campaign, international banking industry publication The Banker named Butterfield “Bank of the Year”, and Warwick Academy collected Toys For Tots,
