Photos & Video: Girl Guide Thinking Day Service
Girl Guiding Bermuda held their annual Thinking Day Service this afternoon [Feb 23] at the Anglican Cathedral on Church Street, with Brownies, Guides and other participants marching from City Hall to take part in the service.
Thinking Day is the day closest to the birthday of Lord Baden-Powell who was the originator of the now worldwide Scouting movement. Guiding started after Lord Baden-Powell’s wife Olave Baden-Powell, initiated a similar movement aimed at girls.
