Warwick Swimmers Continue Championships
Through 24 events at the 2020 Eastern Interscholastic Swimming & Diving Championships, the Warwick Academy team is in 17th place with 250 points.
Bella Howes clocked a time of 54.69, finishing 18th in the women’s 100 yard freestyle. Caleb Ingham finished 23rd competing in the men’s 100 yard freestyle, touching the wall in a time of 48.38.
With a time of 5:13.74, Taylor White finished 17th competing in the women’s 500 yard freestyle, while Taylor Horan finished 22nd with a time of 5:23.71.
Brian Desmond clocked a time of 4:42.03, finishing 12th in the men’s 500 yard freestyle, while Jack Harvey finished 11th in the men’s 100 yard backstroke, touching the wall in a time of 51.89.
During the women’s 100 yard breaststroke, Josephine Duerden finished 11th with a time of 1:09.14.
The team of Howes, Duerden, Tayla Horan and White finished the women’s 400 yard freestyle relay in seventh place with a time of 3:40.10.
Harvey, Harlan Watson-Brown, Desmond and Ingham finished 13th in the men’s 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:17.59.
