Wells And Bristol City Fall To Blackburn Rovers

June 21, 2020

Nahki Wells and his Bristol City teammates suffered defeat at Blackburn Rovers despite taking the lead through Jamie Paterson.

A header from Tommy Rowe’s cross put Bristol City in front but Corry Evans’ cross found its way into the net before Tosin Adarabioyo and Adam Armstrong took the game away from them.

The defeat puts City down to ninth place, still just four points off the play-offs with eight games of the campaign remaining.

Bristol City made a double substitution at half-time with Jack Hunt replacing Pedro Pereira and Nahki Wells coming on for the booked Han-Noah Massengo.

Wells and Bristol City now face Sheffield Wednesday at home on Sunday, June 28th.
