Central Bus Terminal Kiosk Closed Early Today

The Department of Public Transportation [DPT] confirmed that the Central Bus Terminal kiosk closed early today [Sept 1], will resume normal operating hours on Wednesday [Sept 2].

A Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Public Transportation [DPT] can confirm that the Central Bus Terminal kiosk closed at 4pm today (Tuesday, September 1st), due to a temporary unavailability of staff.

“The kiosk is expected to re-open as per normal tomorrow [Wednesday, September 2nd]. DPT apologizes to the public for the late notice and for any inconvenience this may cause.”

    Are they saying , that no one at Headquarters in Devonshire, could sell bus tickets and tokens…so the general public has to beg change from nearby stores and restaurants. Closing at 4pm…if some worker has an issue, there is a process that can be used to encourage continous service to the general public. What would have happen if it was Harbour Night or three cruise ships in port ? Worse, nobody feels that the public deserves a proper answer.
