Video: Rev Beaman’s Inauguration Benediction
Reverend Silvester Beaman – a former pastor at Bermuda’s St. Paul AME Church – delivered the benediction at the inauguration ceremony of American President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris yesterday [Jan 20].
Introducing the benediction, Reverend Beaman said, “As a nation and people of faith gathered in this historical moment, let us unite in prayer.”
St. Paul AME posted a congratulatory message on Facebook after it was announced that Reverend Beaman would deliver the historic benediction, saying, “We are extremely excited to know that our former Pastor has been given such an honor. May God continue to bless you Rev. Dr. Silvester Beaman and you Sis. Renee Palmore Beaman.”
He says ‘nation and people of faith’ as if that’s a good thing. smdh.
