Minister Confirms Another Covid Related Death
The Government has confirmed the sad news that “Bermuda has recorded an additional Covid-19 related death,” which brings the total number of Covid related deaths to 23.
In releasing tonight’s test results, the Minister of Health Kim Wilson said, “I am extremely sorry to report that Bermuda has recorded an additional Covid-19 related death. This is distressing news, and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family and friends who are now grieving the loss of their loved one.”
The island has now recorded a total of 23 Covid-19 related deaths, with 11 this month.
No word from the Minister on side effects like shingles that is affecting many around the world, and here? Bermuda needs transparency and truth if Government wants to get people vaccinated. Don’t complain about social media, more facts would help to counteract that. Ages and pre existing health issues for deaths and people in ICU for example. The more secrecy the more Covid is seen as a stigma, which is not right. It is not a stigma or something to be ashamed of, but Government has been making it look that way.

Yes. And 6 in past week alone. We need to do better Bermuda!
How many of those in hospital, ICU and who have sadly died had been offered and refused the vaccine?
My expectation (correct me if I’m wrong) is that no-one fully vaccinated has had bad symptoms.
Let this be a prompt for those still believing that the vaccine is in some ways dangerous that it’s not and that COVID really is!
Please people – if you’re able then follow government advice and get vaccinated whatever your age.
