May 18, 2021

“To thank those who are now fully vaccinated, CG Insurance will give away free wellness health bags later this week to those who show their Government-issued Covid-19 Immunization Card,” the company said today.

A spokesperson said, “It has been proven that individuals getting vaccinated is the most direct way to get our global economies and communities on the road to recovery from the crippling effects of the pandemic. Bermuda is no exception and each resident has a part to play to get the island back on track from following government regulated Covid-19 guidelines to opting to get the vaccine.

“CG Insurance believes it is vital for the people of Bermuda to continue to help drive down the spread of the virus. To thank those who are now fully vaccinated, CG Insurance will give away free wellness health bags later this week to those who show their Government-issued Covid-19 Immunization Card.

“The giveaway will take place outside CG’s Reid Street headquarters from 9.00am to 12.00pm on Thursday, May 20 and Friday, May 21.

“The wellness bags contain an infrared thermometer, a pulse oximeter, and an adult-sized mask. The bags will be available to individuals 18 years of age and older and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last, with a limit of one bag per household.”

Beth Frazier, CG’s Chief Operating Officer for Health, said, “This is simply our way to say thank you to those who’ve taken this step to help stop the spread of the virus, and to encourage others to do the same.

“It’s about getting our community and economy healthy again and it starts with each of us. When you get vaccinated, you are protecting yourself, your loved ones, your neighbours, your colleagues, your friends and, ultimately, your community.

“We respect that everyone has a choice and hope that through people’s decision to get the vaccine that Bermuda’s recovery will be swift and successful.”
