City Hall To Close From July 16-18 For Upgrades
City Hall — inclusive of the Bermuda National Gallery and the Bermuda Society of the Arts — will be closed to the public and staff from July 16 to 18 to “allow for needed facility upgrades,” the City announced today.
A spokesperson said, “The City of Hamilton wishes to advise the public that from July 16 to 18, City Hall will be closed to the public and staff to allow for needed facility upgrades. This closure is inclusive of the Bermuda National Gallery and the Bermuda Society of the Arts.
“During this three-day period, all electrical power to the building will be turned off as technicians work to replace major electrical components in the City Hall building.
“These works will also affect the power supply and internet connection at the Par-La-Ville and City Hall car parks; as such, gates to both car parks will be left open for the duration.
“Any questions please contact the City’s Assistant City Engineer Charles Waters at cwaters@cityhall.bm.”
