Bermuda Ranks 2nd In ‘Olympics Search Interest’
The Tokyo Olympics came to an end on Sunday [Aug 8], with Bermuda finishing in 63rd overall on the official medal table — thanks to the historic Gold Medal win by Flora Duffy — and according to data provided by Google Trends about Olympics search interest, Bermuda ranked second, behind only Japan, which was the host nation.
The search giant provided an ‘Alternative Olympics Medal Table’ where they provided various data, including ‘if medals were given out based on Olympics search interest,’ with Bermuda finishing in second place, with 30 golds on the chart.
