Betschart Places Well At US Kids Championships
Young Bermuda golfer Oliver Betschart recently competed in the U.S. Kids World Championship in Pinehurst, North Carolina, making an impressive showing to place 43rd in an international field of more than 150 competitors.
A spokesperson said, “He struggled a bit with the temperatures reaching the mid 90’s at Pinehurst. However he was still able to pull together respectable score of 232 shooting an 80, 77 and final day 3 over par 75 to place 43 out of a field of 154 from 29 countries and 45 states.”
