Circumstances surrounding this crash aside, how many crashes, how many deaths on this very small section of road?

Does this not raise a red flag for the road engineers at W&E that something is very wrong in that area?

A simple banking of the road would go a long way to make it safer. A proper crash barrier would save people from crashing into the unforgiving stone wall.

How many more crashes, how many more lives will if take for W&E to do the right thing?
