19 Complete Coaching & Umpiring Courses

The Bermuda Netball Association congratulated 12 participants who completed the Level I and Level II Coaching courses as well as seven participants who passed the AFNA Level C Umpire Award Theory Course.

A spokesperson said, “Level I and Level II Bermuda Netball Association Coaching courses commenced earlier this year. The coaching courses were equivalent and recognizable by both the governing bodies of the BNA, the Americas Federation of Netball Associations’ [AFNA] and the International Netball Federation [INF].

“The courses were led by Bridget Adams. Bridget is the Head Coach of Netball at the University of Trinidad and Tobago, Chair of the Americas Federation of Netball Associations’ [AFNA's] coaching committee, and she is also a member of the Internation Netball Federation [INF] Coach Advisory Panel.

“The BNA congratulate the 12 participants for completing the course requirements:

“Seven participants passed the AFNA Level C Umpire Award Theory Course earlier this year after completing a 7-week umpire training program. Practical assessment plans are currently underway AFNA will be facilitating practical training and assessments virtually this fall.

“The BNA congratulates the below participants on passing the theory exam and wish them well as they move on to the next phase of practical assessments:
