AgraLiving Institute Offering Online Courses
The AgraLiving Institute will be holding an online course series starting this Saturday [Oct 16] covering “sustainable farming knowledge.”
A spokesperson said, “The AgraLiving Institute is excited to present their online course series as an option for the community to access sustainable farming knowledge at their convenience.
“The series is made up of six courses that will take place via Zoom starting this Saturday, October 16th and lasting up until December 11th, 2021.
“The topics covered will be:
- Garden Planning for Success
- Growing Healthy Seedlings
- Garden Preparation
- Transplanting
- Composting
- Harvesting & Holiday Cooking
“Each course is a two-hour experience that includes an interactive presentation hosted by local expert Chris Faria, as well as access to their instructional videos, which you can go back to whenever you need them as you continue to grow your garden.
“You can either purchase these courses individually based on which topics interest you or you can take advantage of our special offer, which allows you to get one course free if you buy their complete online series.
“The AgraLiving team also has in-person workshops coming up that they host in their education garden at the Botanical Gardens. They include Sustainable farming 101 workshops on Sunday, October 24th and Saturday, November 13th, and their TomatoMania! workshop on Saturday, December 4th.
